1. Sachem North High School “Determined, Together, Focused”
About the team: They bring a lot of experience to the court with five out of their
seven starters being competitors in last year's State Tournament. These players include AJ Fitzgerald, Mark Williams, John Curaro, CJ Johnson, and Chris Lenhert. They are last year’s Long Island Championship winners.
Coaches insight: This season we have picked up right where we left off at the end of last year. Continuing to be one of the best teams on the Island. Our two senior outside hitters Mark Williams and AJ Fitzgerald receive the bulk of the work load this year on the pins and are proving to be tough to stop. Senior setter CJ Johnson runs the offense well with Junior libero John Curaro manning the serve receive and defensive side of the ball. Curaro has been outstanding this year stepping into the starting role after splitting time last year proving to be a top Libero on the Island. We have been off to a good start but still looking to improve upon our performance even more. We look to be atop of the Island again and competing for a State Title.
Season Record: 7-0

5. Eastport South Manor High School "Young, Talented, Ready"
About the team: They have a young team, including 5 Sophomores. Two starters saw major time at last year's Long Island Championship.
Coaches Insight: Since this is my first full year, its more breaking my boys into a new system and way to train. With that, it is a building year, to develop a culture, attitude and work ethic that will take us to the next level. we don't have a lot of experience at the varsity level but they're adjusting quickly and hope by the time playoffs roll around we'll be able to make a serious run at a championship. Only two starters saw major time at the LIC's last year.
Season Record: 5-2
6. Smithtown West High School "Relentless, Passionate, Cerebral"

Returning starters from last season's team, middles Matt Kim and Matt Bernstein have combined for 92 kills so far. Senior right-side hitter Alex Aldorosio has 48 kills as well. Setter Ido Moriah does a fantastic job running the offense and distributing the ball to all five hitters to keep the defense guessing. The defense is anchored by Ethan Brandwein; Ethan leads the team with 62 digs and may be one of the best passers in the county.”
