Long Island’s Best Shine Bright at St. Joseph’s University
The 6th Annual LIVBALL All-Star Games brought Long Island’s top volleyball talent together for an unforgettable two-day showcase at the Danzi Athletic Center at St. Joseph’s University on November 29–30, 2025. With over 500 spectators in the building and college coaches from seven NCAA programs in attendance, the atmosphere was electric from the moment the first whistle blew.
This year’s event was proudly sponsored by H.E.A.T. Sports LI, VBLI, Ralph’s Italian Ices in Farmingville, and Kalowan Sportswear—major supporters of the sport and its continued growth on Long Island.

Girls All-Star Night
Mixed All-Stars: Hard Hitters vs. Block Party
The girls opened the weekend with a highly competitive best-of-three match.
Set 1: Hard Hitters 25–19
Set 2: Block Party 25–23
Set 3: Hard Hitters 15–13
Both teams delivered powerful swings and clutch defense in a match that kept the crowd fully engaged.
County Showdown: Nassau vs. Suffolk
Nassau controlled the action from the first serve.
Set 1: Nassau 25–16
Set 2: Nassau 25–22
Player of the Match: Olivia Smitelli (Long Island Lutheran)
Smitelli led the charge with standout offense and confidence, helping Nassau earn a 2-0 victory over Suffolk.

Boys All-Star Night
Mixed All-Stars: High Impact vs. Match Point
Match Point came out dominant to start the evening.
Set 1: Match Point 25–13
Set 2: High Impact 25–19
Set 3: Match Point 15–11
High Impact sparked a comeback in Set 2 behind a serving run from James Huber, a key block by Niall, and a set-winning kill in the middle from Jack Cain. Match Point regrouped in the third to finish strong and take the match.

County Showdown: Suffolk vs. Nassau
The final match of the weekend featured intense rallies and major momentum swings.
Set 1: Suffolk 25–23
Set 2: Suffolk 27–25
Nassau held multiple late leads, but Suffolk answered with clutch plays including a huge block from Colin O’Connor and Jack Cain and the game-winning block from Huber to close the match.
Player of the Match: Jack Cain (Eastport-South Manor)
Cain stepped up on the biggest points of the night, delivering both offensively and defensively.

Long Island Volleyball Continues to Rise
From passionate fans to college coaches scouting future stars, this year’s All-Star Weekend captured the excitement and growth of volleyball in our community. It was a celebration of the hard work these athletes put in all season long and the supporters who help the sport thrive.
