Alex Patsos is the top player on Long Island and the go to leader for Connetquot. She can do it all. She is an elite passer in serve receive and defense and stays composed under pressure in big moments. Volleyball runs in the family as her sister Julia won two state titles with Connetquot in 2017 and 2019 and we think this team could make a deep playoff run.

Taylor Marsh is the centerpiece of the Smithtown West offense. She swings on the pin and out of the middle and is a nightmare for opposing defenses. Taylor can hit any shot, swings with power, and is a strong blocker, making her one of the most dangerous players in Suffolk this season.

School: Bay Shore High School Class of 2027

Kelsi Kennedy is one of the best liberos on Long Island and the backbone of Bay Shore’s defense. She controls serve receive, digs tough attacks, and keeps the ball alive in long rallies all at a high level. Her consistency and court awareness make her a huge asset for Bay Shore this season.

4. Gabriella Rice


Position: Opposite Hitter

School: Sachem East High School Class of 2026

Gabby Rice is a tall and imposing opposite hitter for Sachem East. She is a strong blocker who will give opposing hitters trouble at the net and will be the main option on this Sachem East team. With her size and skill, Gabby is set to be a big factor for Sachem East this season.

Andie Fortmeyer is a dominant middle blocker for Lindenhurst. She showcased her talent in last year’s Girls All Star Game and continues to be a force at the net this season, making life tough for opposing teams.

Emily Layton is the libero who anchors the defense for Plainview-Old Bethpage. She plays on one of the top teams on Long Island and was a key part of their Nassau County Championship last season. With Emily holding down the defense, POB will look to defend their title again this season.





7. Olivia Smitelli

Olivia Smitelli is a 6-foot standout for Long Island Lutheran. She can hit from all three positions, but she is especially dominant on the outside. Her size and athleticism also make her a strong blocker at the net, giving LUHI a major weapon on both offense and defense. LUHI is one of the best teams in their conference and Olivia should help them make a deep playoff run.





8. Angela Bush

Angela Bush was a big part of Kellenberg’s CHSAA State Championship run last year and is looking to do it again this season. Usually a force in the middle, she’s showing off her athleticism on the outside and making a huge impact all over the court. She will play at the University of Scranton next year.

Morgan Wolcott is the focal point of the Half Hollow Hills West offense. She played a big role in helping Hills West win the New York State AA Championship last season and will look to lead the team as they defend their title this year.

Gisele Trzaskalski, class of 2028, is one of the most exciting young players in the Connetquot program. While she is primarily a setter at the club level, she has moved to the outside for Connetquot this season. Gisele shows off insane athleticism, jumping high and swinging with power while also passing dimes. She is part of a very good Connetquot team that looks set to be strong for the next few years.
